Maximizing sustainable resource and land management is a skill that increases yield and will feed more people. We are passionate about maximizing the utilization of the year-round sun in Africa in countries where solar power has not been affordable. As we look for resources to bring to the areas we have teams, we are partnering with other businesses and nonprofits that have already made strides in these areas.
LMTD has partnered with Promise Farms to sponsor a 3-month intern program in Uganda for sustainable resource management training. We will be selecting several participants passionate about farming and providing support for them to learn these techniques, then go back to teach others.
Promise Farms teaches sustainable permaculture and rainwater collection, among many advanced techniques.
