From Survival to Transformation: Building Leaders & Feeding Futures in Kakuma
The Landmark Forum Difference
In the heart of the Kakuma refugee camp, thousands live each day with uncertainty. Yet within this hardship, transformation is unfolding.
Through the Landmark Forum, refugees are stepping beyond survival thinking into leadership, resilience, and hope. Over 150 men and women have participated, discovering they are not defined by displacement but empowered to create possibility for their families and communities.
The Forum has sparked new conversations of peace, restored dignity, and given participants the tools to lead change from within. Right now, 23 refugees are registered in the Introduction Leaders Program, but they need support to cover costs for internet access, training, coaching, transportation, and food.
Knead to Feed & Fighting Food Insecurity
Food insecurity in Kakuma is at crisis levels. Aid rations have been cut, leaving families with less than 1,000 calories a day per person—sometimes nothing at all.
In response, we launched the Knead to Feed Bakery School: a sustainable business that brings both bread and opportunity. Refugees are trained in baking, business, and entrepreneurship while producing thousands of loaves each week. Every loaf not only eases hunger but also carries the promise of self-reliance, dignity, and economic empowerment.
With your support, we can expand these bakeries, feed more families, and equip more leaders to rise from crisis to contribution.

Together, we can build a future where refugees are not merely surviving but thriving—leaders of peace and providers of hope.
