Who We Are
The Founder’s Story
Let’s Make The Difference is a registered 501(c)3 organization in Nashville, TN (EIN: 84-1728140).

Bill & Wendy
Wendy Huffman’s journey to founding Let’s Make THE Difference began with a promise born from heartbreak. When her beloved partner, Bill, passed away unexpectedly while mentoring teachers in Zambia, Wendy made a vow to continue the vision they had, about making a difference for those in challenging circumstances. That vow has grown into a global mission rooted in peace, purpose, and deep partnerships with communities across Africa. What started as support for local educators has become a movement empowering people in refugee camps and beyond to build futures of hope and opportunity. Wendy leads with compassion, humility, and fierce commitment — always listening first and walking alongside local leaders as they create sustainable change from within.
